Some poor design features

I had a difficult time choosing between 2 and 3 stars, but based on how a lot of this was designed, I couldn't settle on 3 stars.
Overall, I do enjoy the 2 tier design and it helps fit a lot more dishes and glasses on not-a-lot of counter space. One of the biggest problems is that the dish rack is designed to be slanted, to help move the water down the desired side. As you can see from the picture, the idea is that all the water will funnel into the metal funnel and carry it into the sink, which is great in theory. However, the lip of the dish mat underneath on the side with the funnel is so short, that water slides down off that side anyways and not through the metal funnel, thus defeating the purpose. I've had a lot of spilled water all of my counter before, which is frustrating considering the design. I had to rustle up a quick fix and used aluminum foil to help funnel the water into the metal lip which would bring it to the sink. It's not perfect but it works.
Another design flaw is that the side underneath the top tier rack doesn't have a bar that blocks dishes from falling in. This is difficult to explain, but I had put a few short bowls on the bottom rack and they would slip right through the dish rack and crash in the sink because there was no aluminum bar that was low enough to prevent a short bowl from slipping through.
Either way, I'm content with it, but I almost certainly would not buy again.

Perfect Two Tier Dish Rack

Really like this product, easy to set up. Bottom tray tilts nicely so the water flows back into the sink. Ample room for drying flatware. Picture on Amazon very true to life size product.

A well designed dish tray

This is a very well design kitchen dish tray. The base tilts slightly to guide the water to the sink. It can be placed two ways to face the sink. It is also easy to clean. This dish rack is built for about four people. If you have a large family, it may not work for you.
